TDI Nitrox Gas Blender
This course provides the training required to allow candidates to competently and safely blend nitrox gas.
The objective of this course is to train candidates in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards involved in blending nitrox gases for recreational scuba.
QUALIFICATIONS OF GRADUATES
Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in the blending of nitrox gases, without direct supervision.
Minimum age 18
This course enables the successful candidate to engage in the preparation of high quality scuba gases.
The objective of this course is to train candidates in the proper procedures needed for the preparation and blending of high quality gases.

The Gas Blender course will train you as a qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers.
You'll learn the physical properties of oxygen
Its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary. Finally, you will learn the five methods of obtaining the desired enriched air nitrox mix and the various methods used to obtain proper helium mixes.
You must be :
A PADI Enriched Air Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
At least 18 years old
You’ll learn the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary. Finally, you will learn the five methods of obtaining the desired Trimix mix and the various methods used to obtain proper helium mixes.
PADI Trimix Blender
IANTD Nitrox Blender
This Programme is designed to train competent personnel in the safe handling of oxygen and the preparation of EANx.
You need to :
1. Must have a need to become a blender (such as working for an EANx training or full service facility). If not affiliated with a facility must be a qualified Advanced EANx Diver and located in a remote area.
2. Must be recommended by an IANTD Instructor or Facility.
3. To be qualified to service specific brands or equipment for EANx use, the blender must be a Qualified Technician with the manufacturer of the equipment being serviced.
This Programme is designed to train competent personnel in the safe handling of oxygen and the preparation of Trimix and Heliox.
You need to :
1. Must be qualified as an IANTD EANx Gas Blender and have a need to become a Trimix Blender (such as working for a training or full service facility). If not affiliated with a facility must be a qualified Trimix Diver and located in a remote area.
2. Must be recommended by an IANTD Instructor or Facility.
